When doing my digital story, I found it easy to use Photostory3. At first it was little hard to find my idea but once I got going, I was able to find my way through the program. What work well for me, was setting up my pictures. What didn't work well was putting my voice recording into the movie but the techperson was able to help me figure it out.

My Digital Story
WebQuest Reflection
Doing a WebQuest was interesting. It was fun to learn how power point could be used to make a WebQuest. Learning about the Boston Tea Party was fun too. The only thing was that we could only have one person work on it at a time, so it took a long time to finish. The end result, in my opinion, was success. It was also good to see everybody elses to show the different subjects to explore using WebQuests. To veiw my WebQuest in google docs, click here, otherwise you may veiw it here on my page above.
Week three
We did an assessment and that was the last of our lessons. Tauna Huntsman, my partner, gave the instructions and then we helped the students with the activity. We introduced SPAR to the students. The students were in groups of three. One student defended the North, one defended the South, and one kept time, also being the judge. Then they switched places. Basically it was a mini-debate.
Week two
We taught lessons four out of the five days.
Also, We had a freedom assembly with the whole school. This patriotism went well with our lessons. The students were, also learning patriotic songs for Hope of America, a program that goes on at the Marriot Center that includes schools from around the area. They even have actions to the music.
Week one
My first week in field was exciting. In the beginning we did a lot of 'one on one' tutoring which I had done before in previous experiences. The fourth day was our first lesson. The Unit we did was on Slavery and the Civil War. The students were very kind. The lesson went well.
