I felt like this week went by quickly. The readings for this week were short, but the discussion was fully long enough. I enjoy the conversations. I think I participated once or twice, which was hard to do. (That is because everyone needs to say something.) But I was glad that the peoples' names who didn't get a chance were called out because if it was me I would know how to cut right in.
I am spending a lot of time reading in all my classes. The most interesting read was for Dr. Patch's class. The reason I liked it was because it gave specific examples of teachers' view points, particularly from a cultural stand-point, that showed attributes for each of how to become a better teacher.
The main focus for me this week, besides reading, is for Dr. Byrd's literacy test. I hope to score better on the third chapter than I did on the first/second chapters.
I am excited to have a speaker come to class. I can't wait.
